Physical properties
Sodium bicarbonate is white or monoclinic crystalline powder. Specific gravity is 2.15. It is soluble in water and insoluble in ethyl alcohol. Solubility: 7.8g, 18 ℃; 16.0g, 60℃.
1. Sodium bicarbonate can be used as raw material in pharmaceutical industry.
2. In motion picture production, tanning, mineral separation, smelting, metal heat treatment, fiber, rubber and other industries.
3. As detergent of wool and in soaking seed.
