1. As analytical reagent and solvent for vinyl resin and acetylene.
2. As excellent sovent for polyurethane, polyacrylonitrile and polyvinyl chloride.
3. DMF is a chemical raw material and excellent solvent with wide range of application. In petrochemical industry, DMF can be used as gas absorbent for separating and refining gases. In organic reaction, DMF can be used as solvent and an important intermediate for organic synthesis. In pesticide, DMF can be used in producing chlordimeform. In pharmaceutical industry, in can be used in the synthesis of cortisone, vitamin B6, idoxuridine, stilbazium iodide, pyrantel, lomustine, tegafur, anethole trithione, and chlortrimeton.
4. Reagent for nonaqueous solution titration, solvent for vinyl resin and acetylene.
