Hydrogen peroxide has three kinds of applications in medical, military and industry.
Hydrogen peroxide is used in chemical industry for producing sodium perborate, sodium percarbonate, peracetic acid, and sodium chlorite. In pharmaceutical industry, hydrogen peroxide can be used as fungicide and disinfectant. In dyeing and printing industry, it can be used as bleaching agent of cotton fabrics. It can also be used in bleaching wool, raw silk, feature, ivory, bristles, pulp and fat.
Civil use: in the treatment of odor of kitchen sewer.
Hydrogen peroxide is also applied in laboratory for preparing oxygen.
Hydrogen peroxide has a strong oxidation to organic matters, and it is generally used as an oxidant.
